Got them for someone and hope they like it. I put them on, and I can still hear people, but it does tone it down a bit.
I have tried many ear muff styles and earplugs, but there isn't one out there that deadens the noise like DD. My shop screams 12" saws, jointers, and routers, but the ease of on and off of the DDs saves these ears. Buy them!
I ordered the red muffs and somehow got black. I was, admittedly, a tad annoyed but DD did me right and told me to keep the black ones (which I gave to my nephew) and sent me the red ones free of charge. I really respect that so nothing but satisfaction here. I also go to try them out at the range the other day and it was a perfect scenario. Dude next to me was shooting 300BLK (I was shooting .223 out of an AR) with some heavy-duty loads. Out of a bolt action with no muzzle device. Dude was blowing my shirt around. But sound wise it was no big deal. Pads are comfy and no head squeeze/pressure. Folds up nice, though because of what they are they're chonkers but I knew that going in and to me it's an acceptable trade-off for decent muffs that actually block sound. Perfect range muffs IMO. Special shout-out to Daniela at DD support. Thanks again.

I have a big head and these fit a little too small for my head and ears. They will go on the prize table at the next state match.

As a female, I had a hard time finding ear protection that fit - these muffs are perfect! Love the fit, love the color, love the noise protection they provide. No negatives!
We needed new ear protection for yardwork and wanted ones with great protection, so we went with these. They arrived quickly and fit comfortably. The sound dampening was great and just what we needed. The fact they come in lots of colors to choose from was fun too!

While they are not as durable as the David Leight models they have a higher NRR and come in bright colors. We have used probably a dozen by now. I will buy more.
