These work really well! I use them to block out distracting noise while I’m working, they even block out my dog’s high pitched whines requesting an early dinner. I took the advice of another reviewer and “broke them in” by keeping them open on their box for two days. It helped and now I can wear them comfortably for hours.
They’re more of a dark blue, than purple. They block out the sound of my 45 hp tractor and are comfortable to wear! Definitely worth it! I highly recommend them for protecting your hearing!
When they first arrived, the ear muffs fit quite snugly. I took the advice of others in reviews, and inserted their box between the ear pieces. I left them over the box for 2 days to stretch, after which they were very comfortable to wear. The color is not purple at all. It is a vivid, deep blue, similar to lapis lazuli blue. It's very pretty -- just not purple.
I purchased them an upcoming Airshow so can’t really evaluate them yet however I checked them out in a loud environment and I’m pleased so far.

They are a lot smaller than I anticipated. I have a small head and tiny external ears and they do fit, but barely.
I really wanted these to work. Sound IS muffled, but I am amazed at how much I still hear. They are also incredibly uncomfortable. Once on there is so much pressure on my head that it hurts.
They are blue, not purple, and for me that is fine. So far they seem to be really helpful with managing sound in a sometimes loud band.
These fit better than my old 3M Peltor muffs. I don't think the low frequencies are attenuated as well though. I didn't see a chart or graph with attenuation data or whatever that is called. I think that should be included. Overall I like the design and the color options. I use these with machines and power tools, not for shooting.
Comfortable with excellent sound deadening. Definitely recommended for anyone needing hearing protection. However, they were marked as purple and they are definitely blue which is not the favorite color of the giftee.

We got this for our autistic 6th grader who struggles with sound sensitivity at school. It's almost impossible to get this kid to admit anything helps, but they said "it's better," which from anyone else would be a ringing endorsement! Thanks for helping us out!
My 10 year old uses them to concentrate at school. Work great and very comfortable. My only note would be that these are closer to blue than purple.
